The Audi RS7 is the quickest, most powerful version of Audi's full size four-door coupe A7. The RS7 has a 4.0L turbocharged V8 that puts 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic and quattro all-wheel drive. That power will get you 16.3 L/100 km city, 9.1 L/100 km highway.
The RS7 comes with a quattro sport differential, to actively move power between the rear wheels to improve traction and reduce understeer. Adaptive air suspension reduces roll while still giving excellent ride. It also allows variable ride heights to lower the car on the highway for stability and aerodynamics. The car rides on massive 21-inch wheels.
Standard equipment includes full LED head and tail lights, sunroof, power trunklid, folding mirrors, door closure assist, four-zone climate control, electric tilt and telescoping steering wheel, eight-way power leather and heated front seats, and a rear sunshade. The infotainment is an 8.0-inch screen with Audi's MMI and navigation. There is also a Bose 13-speaker stereo with bluetooth interface. The RS7 has automatic lights and wipers, front and rear park alerts, rear and corner-view cameras, and blind spot alerts.
Options include lane guidance, adaptive cruise with stop and go function, a Bang & Olufsen 15-speaker stereo, and ventilated front seats with massage function. There are also Carbon Optics and Aluminum Styling packages that add various carbon or aluminum trim and styling accents.
The RS7 plays in the same ballpark as the BMW M6 GrandCoupe, the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63AMG, and the Porsche Panamera GTS. They’re all very fast, very stylish, and very well appointed. The RS7 is definitely worth a drive, and is arguably the best looking of the group.
